In many cases the acceleration is not the only reason to choose a linear motor. Lowering the acceleration requirements makes it possible to achieve optimum cost effectiveness with a smaller and less costly Iron Core TM Motor. This allows the use of linear motors in e.g. computer-to-plate printers and water jet cutters. In such applications even the traditional spindle is more expensive! The TM linear motor is equipped with a long flexible servocable which makes the use of additional connectors superfluous.

The Iron Core TL Motors are specially suited for use in the production of electronics. They are compactly designed and the attraction forces between the coil and the magnets are extremely low. This enables the user to build a very compact gantry. Tecnotion also offers TL motors in an long version. In applications with long tracks - like printers for large digital formats - the combination of a narrow magnet track and a long TL motor is a reliable and very cost effective solution.

The TB Iron Core Motors are available as water-cooled and not-water-cooled types. They are successfully used in many point-to-point applications within FPD processes. A growing number of flat panel producers who used to work with large ironless motors are discovering the advantages of the less expensive TB Iron Core Motors. The water-cooled versions (TBW) have proven its performance in Machine tool applications where heat control is one of the mean issues.

With the TG-motor Tecnotion extends her product range with the strongest iron core linear motor available. The compact construction and minimized height of the TG-motor make it easy to incorporate the TG-motor in any system that requires maximum power. The TG-motor stands out for its fully integrated water-cooling system, superb heat performance, minimal attraction force between magnets and coils and excellent motor constant. For optimal protection of the magnet tracks they are cast into epoxy resin.
