Temperature Cut-off sensor
A cut-off sensor is used to protect the motor from damage due to overheating. The PTC-1k-type sensor has a positive coefficient between temperature and resistance. Near 110°C the resistance increases exponentially. The sensor output can be used as input for the controller to shut off the current to prevent damage to the coils.
