1998 – 2023

25 years of excellence! We are proud to celebrate a major milestone – our 25th anniversary! For a quarter of a century, Tecnotion has been committed to providing exceptional linear and torque motors to our customers. Over the past 25 years, our products and innovative solutions have been widely recognized by customers and industry experts alike, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our incredible team, partners, and customers.

Tecnotion employees

Tecnotion’s success can be attributed to our talented and dedicated team of employees in Operations, Logistics, Sales, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and HRM. We now have more than 450 employees worldwide, 250 of whom work at our headquarters in the Netherlands and around 150 in China. In addition, we have our own sales offices in the U.S., South Korea, China, the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland. Our people continuously push the boundaries of technology and take our products to the next level.

Tecnotion’s commitment to customer service is second to none, with responsive and knowledgeable staff available to provide support whenever it’s needed. We are proud that our customers include some of the world’s leading manufacturers of semiconductor, medical devices, aerospace equipment, robotics, and automation systems. Tecnotion works closely with a network of suppliers and partners to ensure we have the access to the latest technologies and materials. Our partnerships with key suppliers have enabled the company to stay at the forefront of motor technology, and to deliver products that are reliable. Tecnotion production sites

Our production has come a long way since its humble beginnings. The workers have been the backbone of the factory and they are the key to ensure our products are the highest quality possible. We are grateful for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

In 1998, Tecnotion became independent after being a part of Philips.
In 2004, our new factory opened in Suzhou, China.
In 2005, we opened a new headquarters in Almelo, the Netherlands.
At the end of 2023, we will open a new production site in Eastern Europe.

Overview of our growth

In 2005, Tecnotion reached 9.8 million in revenue.
Till 2022, Tecnotion has grown to 70 million in revenue.
To this today, Tecnotion is still growing, and we are more ambitious than ever before, aspiring to even greater heights of success.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary, Tecnotion is planning a series of events and initiatives throughout the year. These will include open house, company anniversary trip. We will provide more information regarding all the events we organise this year!

Open house day

on April 15, Tecnotion opened it’s door to welcome people from all walks of life to visit. It was a successful and well attended day. Our colleagues did their best to explain our products, how they are made, how they work, and in which application they are used.

From May 12 -14, 2023. Tecnotion organized a grand party on the island of Ameland as a gesture of gratitude towards our hardworking employees. With almost 200 employees from the Netherlands, USA, Germany, China, South Korea gathered together at this amazing event.
