New building land for future headquarters

Dec 2021, Almelo, the Netherlands. We are proud to announce that we have signed the contract for the purchase of building land for our new Headquarters at XL businesspark in Almelo, the Netherlands.

Due to a remarkable growth, we have had to expand several times in recent years, as a result of which we are now divided over 4 locations in Almelo. To streamline our processes and be ready for further growth, we have acquired 20,000 square meters of land within walking distance of our current headquarters. With all our activities bundled in one place we will be able to serve our customers even better.

"The company has been looking for a place with enough space to expand for several years. In the main building, Tecnotion had already outgrown its capacity for some time, as a result of which some activities were moved elsewhere in the city," says Te Rietmole, CFO / COO at Tecnotion, "this is the high quality we were looking for."

The new building will be designed in such a way that it offers a pleasant working environment for our employees and the production of our motors can be further optimized for a sustainable future. The new building is planned to be ready by the end of 2023.

CEO Bob Jonker says:" We want to continue to grow as a global player when it comes to technical innovation. We now have our own factories in The Netherlands and China and sales offices in six countries from which we do business with all kinds of global players. The new business location (all clean room area) offers exactly what Tecnotion is looking for to maintain that market position. Also for our employees in Almelo and the talents we are looking for."
