Almelo, The Netherlands, September 2025 – Tecnotion launches its new QMT torque motor series, marking a significant expansion of its direct drive portfolio for the Machine Tooling industry. Unleash the power of your application with this brand-new QMT series– Developed to take performance in the Machine Tooling market to the next level. The QMT series is especially suited for applications where superior stall torque is needed, such as tool grinding, milling & turning, in turn & trunnion tables, and in tool heads, among others.

The QMT family comes in two powerful subseries for maximum flexibility:

• QMT-LA series. Shape and dimensions are fully in line with industry standards, making integration into existing designs effortless. With up to 15% more continuous torque and efficiency, the QMT-LA gives your system a significant performance boost without altering the mounting interface. The LA series is available in 4 diameters: 230, 310, 385, and 485 mm.
• QMT-HA series. The high-performance variant features a higher rotor, delivering up to 80% more performance in the same footprint. Perfect for applications where every bit of power and throughput counts. The HA series is available in 2 diameters: 385 and 485 mm.

Built with Machine Tooling in mind, the QMT motors feature a robust design to manage 130°C, optimized aluminum water cooling channels for optimal thermal integration, and PUR cables that are resistant to harsh environments.
